Strawberry jam with 60% less sugar than marmelade
Anyone who has ever been to Greece knows that there are excellent fruits and vegetables there. Unfortunately, most of the time you had to go there to enjoy it.
The jam manufacturer Geodi from Athens makes great jams with 70% fruit from Greek farmers. He now has a brand new version of this jam in his range with no added sugar. It is sweetened with erythritol and a touch of stevia (also grown in Greece). This is how a fantastic creation came about: not too sweet, no sugar but full of fruit flavor! We are proud that we are the first to offer this particular specialty in Germany. Rarely have we been so convinced of a low carb finished product!
Enjoy Helenistic joie de vivre in 5 delicious varieties!
Note: According to the EU standard, Marmelades that are not made exclusively from citrus fruits must be called "jam". This supposedly serves to provide better consumer information. But there are also rumors that this completely nonsensical regulation is based on a translation error, but has never been changed
Ingredients: fruits, pulp, apple juice concentrate, erythritol, fresh lemon juice, citrus pectin, steviol glycosides, fruit content 70%, total fructose content 22-23% (depending on the variety)

May have a laxative effect if consumed to excess.
Store cool after opening
Note: This ingredient does not have a reduced carbohydrate content within the meaning of EU Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 in conjunction with the Food Labeling Ordinance. The reason is that the sugar substitute erythritol contained within the meaning of EU Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 is to be summed up as carbohydrate (although the nutritional value for erythritol, unlike all other carbohydrates, must be calculated at 0kJ/100g) . In terms of the concept of a carbohydrate-reduced diet (low carb), in deviation from this definition, it is only about the reduction of usable carbohydrates, i.e. carbohydrates that directly influence the blood sugar level (sugar, starch). In terms of a low-carb diet, this fruit preparation has a reduced proportion of usable carbohydrates compared to comparable products.

Bemerkungen | Contains naturally occurring sugar (the natural fructose of the fruit it contains) Store cool after opening For products that contain a sugar alcohol, we are obliged by EU standards to provide the following information: "Excessive consumption can have a laxative effect." There are no known cases of such a "side effect" for the natural sugar alcohol erythritol contained in our muesli. We have summarized how nutritional information is determined and what low-carb people in particular should know about it in a somewhat detailed article "Understanding nutritional information". |
